English Translation

Luí Na Talún/ Lie Of The Land is a new Irish Language series which focuses on country life and the environment in Northern Ireland. The series features stories ranging from bird conservation in Northern Ireland to the plight of the honey bee and planning issues.

Presenters, former Gaelic football star Jarlath Burns, and Máire Bhreathnach will be getting hands-on with subjects like brucellosis in cattle and the craft of sheep shearing. They’re joined in each episode by Nodlaig Brolly, providing reports ranging from the exploration of the role of paramedics in rural healthcare to the management of our parks in the winter.

Country life and environmental issues. Máire Bhreathnach, Jarlath Burns and reporter Nodlaig Brolly explore the plight of the honey bee, rural childcare and city parks in winter.
